As advertising manager, I am responsible for devising and executing effective advertising strategies to drive revenue. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management and sales negotiation. I work closely with clients to create tailored advertising packages and ensure satisfaction. I coordinate the implementation of advertising campaigns, manage budgets and analyze market trends for growth opportunities. Team leadership is crucial, so I oversee the sales team and ensure compliance with the organization's policies and ethical standards. In essence, the role demands a dynamic mix of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of both the media industry and advertiser needs.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

OU STUDENT MEDIA | 2022-2023

As an account executive, I served as a vital liaison between the organization and our clients, playing a central role in advertising and sales. Responsible for fostering and maintaining client relationships, I collaborated with clients to understand their advertising needs, objectives and target audiences. I worked closely with internal teams to develop and execute advertising campaigns that aligned with client expectations. Thorugh this role, I became adept at presenting advertising proposals, negotiating terms and ensuring that campaigns are strategically positioned to maximize impact. Additionally, I monitored campaign performance, analyzed key metrics and provided clients with insights and recommendations for optimization.

SOCIAL CONTENT INTERN

ANGLIN | AUG. 2024 - PRESENT

As the social content intern, I develop and execute numerous different tasks. Looking back on the first month of my experience, I have had many opportunities to explore the various sectors of public relations and marketing. Influencer marketing is a growing industry and, through my time at Anglin, I have been able to research, meet and negotiate with influencers, generating social media campaigns through collaborations and partnerships. I have learned the importance of media relations, diligently creating and updating media lists and forming connections with reporters. I have been able to exercise my writing skills, creating op-eds and news releases. Finally, through my experience, I have been able to strengthen my social media skills, generating in-house content and advising clientele content.
